| Description | About the Class: Interviewing suspects and gaining confessions is one of the most important skill sets an investigator can have. If an investigator wants to clear cases and get arrests, they are going to have to be able to build rapport with people quickly. Rapport is the glue that builds bonds between people. An officer's ability to build rapport with people might also mean that witnesses and victims are more likely to talk to them. It also might mean that the patrol officer and detective has more confidential informants who are willing to pick up the phone, drop them a text or just speak with them if they ask. How many Confidential Informants do you have right now? If you do not like that number, then come to the class and get some tools that you can sharpen to improve your people skills. |
