If you even found this section of the MTU 13 website, you are already ahead of the pack.  You are a cop, you chose this path to serve your community, to serve others and to put others before yourself.  These are some of my favorite videos that touch on aspects of leadership.  Don't think the only leaders are wearing stripes and bars; they arn't.  Everyone who puts that uniform on and shows up to work is a leader.  Leaders influence others to make and impact in their lives....Brad

If you do not feel that you have enough time to read the book, this is the next best thing.  I would try and bring him to the MTU, except that sadly he has passed.
