| Description |
PURPOSE OF COURSE: A four day course to provide essential end-user level skills for officers to provide direct action during hostage situations. The curriculum is based on tasks related to the critical initial 60-90 minutes of a hostage crisis [the most volatile] and recognizing that dedicated hostage rescue teams are typically not on site during that time frame. It provides a diverse set tactics, techniques, and procedures to handle an emergency rescue, recover released or escaped hostages a repulse compromise. The methods presented derive directly from proven tactics confirmed in real-world applications Prerequisite- Must have attended a basic Tactical or Basic SWAT/CQB course. I'm not particular on what the name is but this is an advanced course and is designed to compliment the training you already have.
