Law Enforcement Liability Update

Description

PURPOSE OF COURSE: This one day, 8-hour program has been designed to update officers concerning the changes in the statutory law in relation to the Illinois Law Enforcement Liability.

 

COURSE DESCRIPTION: 8 hours of training focusing on the status of Law Enforcement Liability in Illinois.

GOALS: The goals of this course are as follows.

 

  • Provide a complete analysis of the application of the Law Enforcement Liability in Illinois.
  • Allow Illinois Law Enforcement Agencies and Officers to analyze recent changes in Illinois Law with respect to potential liability.
  • Provide an opportunity to discuss the best ways to react to Law Enforcement Liability situations when they arise.
