| Description | PURPOSE OF COURSE: This two-day, 16-hour, program has been designed by Chief Edward Delmore for the purpose of developing patrol officers in a mindset that vehicle stops conducted by well-trained officers carry the potential for discovering serious criminal conduct to include, but not limited to, gun offenses, drug offenses, and terrorism. COURSE OVERVIEW: This program is designed for sworn law enforcement officers. Often described as "Criminal Patrol" it is designed for officers and agencies that want to be proactive in fighting crime. The course is taught by subject matter experts that have decades of experience in criminal interdiction, developing reasonable suspicion, probable cause, detecting deception, discovering hidden compartments, and conducting controlled deliveries. COURSE GOALS: Students will obtain the knowledge to detect and interdict all forms of criminal activity occurring in motor vehicles.
