Patrol Rifle/Carbine Instructor

A comprehensive four day course for firearms instructors to develop skills to teach the AR15 platform in a patrol rifle format. Instructor candidates participate in numerous student teaching exercises in a classroom setting and range operations. The course concludes with a graded half day range session run by the instructor candidates using trainees from outside agencies as students. The curriculum includes developing lesson plans and training syllabuses. Graduates will be competent to conduct initial entry level end-user training and department sustainment.

***Pre-requisite***

In order to attend this class, you have to have previously attended a Basic Patrol Rifle class and be a Police Firearms Instructor.
