New Detective Boot Camp

Purpose of Course:
This intensive 2-day class is designed for both new and experienced detectives, providing a comprehensive review
of the essential skills needed to be an effective criminal investigator. Successful criminal prosecution begins with a
thorough investigation. Our experienced instructor will guide participants through each step of the investigative process by reviewing case studies and actual criminal investigations. Alongside practical approaches, foundational investigative techniques will be covered to ensure participants are ready to apply these skills in the field immediately.

Course Overview:
The focus of this course is to equip law enforcement personnel with specialized training to develop the knowledge
and skills required for effective and professional criminal investigations. Each module is crafted to encourage self-evaluation, helping participants identify and enhance their strengths while addressing weaknesses, all within the
guidelines of their respective departments. From newer officers to seasoned detectives, attendees will learn to approach criminal investigations with a legal and ethical mindset.
