San Jose Field Training Supervisor

FTO_PIc_1.jpg

The objective of this course is for supervisors to be able to not only run a cohesive FTO cadre but also maintain training standards within the department using the San Jose Method.

Supervisors will be able to use the San Jose grading system and adapt it to their individual department needs. Supervisors will be shown various grading systems used by other area departments and how to use them within their own department.

Supervisors will understand how to assist FTO's in maintaining an up-to-date and relevant training system and be able to fill out all the required paperwork for overseeing the successful function on the FTO program.

Supervisors will discuss issues that have arisen in the past during training and possible issues for the future, as well as how to overcome and solve those issues.
