MANDATORY TRAINING: Trauma-Informed, Victim-Centered Sexual Assault and Sexual Abuse
Course Description:
The "Trauma-Informed, Victim-Centered Sexual Assault and Sexual Abuse" training is designed to offer new perspectives on understanding sexual assault victims and to share best practices for responding to sex
crimes. This 8-hour course is intended for sworn officers responding to sexual assault incidents. It is mandatory for ALL sworn officers.
Given the significance of this training, MTU #13 and the Sexual Assault Investigations Training Team are
taking proactive steps to ensure that officers are prepared to meet these upcoming requirements. This is a
