Warning to Motorist/Summary Suspension- What you need to know

This 8-hour course, created by Jennifer Cifaldi, the Illinois Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor, aims to
equip law enforcement with the knowledge and skills to effectively use the proper Warnings to Motorists
and remove impaired drivers from Illinois roadways. The training covers:
 All Warning to Motorist forms
 DUI case law
 Courtroom testimony
 Summary Suspension hearings
 Understanding Illinois Driver's Abstracts
 2020 Cannabis DUI updates
Participants will learn to correctly complete Warning to Motorist forms, write comprehensive DUI reports, and navigate DUI law, enhancing their ability to handle DUI cases, including felony charges.
